House Rules

The space
The fully furnished 1,100 square-foot cabin features dining seating for six, two bedrooms and two 3/4 baths (one jet tub, one shower). There is also a queen-size air mattress available.

If it snows during your stay, you may need to shovel a bit to clear a path. It’s Colorado so snow can happen at any time. We try to keep the path clear but it can get icy so be careful! Cell phone service is spotty on the mountain, so make sure to get the WiFi password and the code for the smart lock before making your way up the mountain.

4WD/AWD vehicles are required from October to May and are recommended year-round. If roads are open and you can't make it to the house, no refunds will be issued. The weather can be unpredictable so be prepared! Also, there is one step down to the deck to reach the entrance, so unfortunately it's not handicap accessible (though we are working on it!).

There are no parties or events allowed. Maximum occupancy is 6 guests. If house rules are broken, we reserve the right to withhold your security deposit and/or cancel your reservation.

** The house has central heat and an electric fireplace. Guests are not permitted to use the fire-pit due to insurance concerns. **

We're available by cell phone and email - we live an hour away from the house and should be able to help if any questions or issues come up.
Neighborhood overview
Two miles up the road is the St. Mary's Glacier Trailhead. It's one of the best hikes in Colorado and we highly recommend it.
